Our team have over 30 years experience in the analysis of complex environmental and ecological data. Modern environmental surveys generate large quantities of often ‘messy’ data. New technologies such as camera traps, passive acoustic monitors, environmental DNA and remote-sensing result in huge volumes of data being collected from the field. Mining these rich datasets is a challenge, often requiring sophisticated analytical methods to detect the signal from the noise. Only then can the findings be put into practice by field-based conservation practitioners and policy-makers. We have worked with government, charities and industrial partners in both the UK and internationally to help them extract the most value from their data. We use open source software to analyse your data on secure servers, and can provide you with the reproducible data processing pipelines if required.
