Our team have over 30 years experience in the analysis of complex environmental and ecological data. Modern environmental surveys generate large quantities of often ‘messy’ data. New technologies such as camera traps, passive acoustic monitors, environmental DNA and remote-sensing result in huge volumes of data being collected from the field. Mining these rich datasets is a challenge, often requiring sophisticated analytical methods to detect the signal from the noise. Only then can the findings be put into practice by field-based conservation practitioners and policy-makers. We have worked with government, charities and industrial partners in both the UK and internationally to help them extract the most value from their data. We use open source software to analyse your data on secure servers, and can provide you with the reproducible data processing pipelines if required.

We are a small team of data scientists with a passion for ecology and conservation. We have experience in a wide range of statistical methods, including Bayesian modelling, machine learning and spatial statistics. We are also experienced in the analysis of large and complex datasets, and can help you to design and implement data collection protocols to ensure that your data is of the highest quality. We are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality analyses and reports, and we pride ourselves on our ability to communicate complex statistical concepts in a clear and concise manner. RFlow: Data Science for Everyone
We are pleased to announce the launch of RFlow, a new web-based no-code data science analytics platform. You can sign up for a free account (no credit card required) and explore this exciting new tool at https://rflow.co.uk
RFlow uses a simple drag-and-drop interface to give you access to the power of R, which is the industry standard for environmental data science. No coding skills are required, yet it allows you to build robust, reproducible data analysis pipelines. It even allows you to export an RFlow pipeline as a standalong R script that you can run in RStudio, Positron, VS Code or other suitable IDE.
RFlow is currently in beta testing and we are looking for feedback from users. If you would like to be involved in the beta testing, please sign up for a free account and let us know what you think.
